Will I lose quality converting GIF to BMP?
No. BMP is lossless — the converted image is pixel-for-pixel identical to what your browser decoded from the GIF file. BMP has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with a colour of your choice (white by default).
Can I convert several GIF files at once?

Does it work with animated GIFs?
Only the first frame is converted — BMP is a still-image format. If you need the animation kept, a video format (MP4/WebM) is the usual choice.
Why is the BMP so much bigger?
BMP stores every pixel uncompressed — a 1920×1080 image is always about 6 MB. That's normal; only use BMP when a specific program requires it.
